Canon Digital Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera Review from Carlos Moran. A great buy, I am happy with my purchase. It included everything I needed to get a nice (but basic) camera set-up going. All the items included are things you need. The bag has enough space for your camera with the lens & compartment space for an additional lens, lens caps, cables and the extra battery. So there’s plenty of space. The bag is fairly big so if its portability and comfort you’re after then you may need a smaller bag with less space. The included battery is not a Canon battery but it is a fully compatible spare which comes in handy in a day full of shooting when your Canon battery may run out of power. The 8GB card provides plenty of space. Using the “L” quality setting (the highest JPG setting) the card will approximately store 1600 pictures. It gives you plenty of room to shoot without worrying about running out of memory. 8GB is the right size as far as memory cards go. I’m glad they chose this size for it. The cables included are part of the Canon kit:USB cable and video out to see the photos on a TV (the camera does not shoot video). The lens is excellent and so is the camera. If you are only getting started with dSLRs you will be more than satisfied with it. As you add lenses, filters and flash kits you will have even more possibilities for your photo enthusiasm.
