The Sony Alpha A230 is a compact DSLR designed around a 10.2 (effective) megapixel, APS-C format CCD sensor, which utilizes a Sony BIONZ image processor to capture and process image files as RAW, JPEG, or RAW+JPEG at speeds of up to 2.5 frames-per-second. The Alpha A230’s body design is smooth and rounded, and features flush-mounted, yet easy to use camera controls. JPEG image files can be recorded in a choice of 3 compression ratios onto Memory Stick PRO Duo or SD/SDHC memory cards. This accessory kit comes with a rechargeable Battery pack (NP-FH50), a 55mm Multi Coated protector filter, soft, lightweight carrying case. This superb telephoto zoom lens for your a DSLR camera has a smooth and silent AF operation with built-in motor to handle themed range to telephoto zoom shots. In 35mm equivalent, it covers midrange 82.5mm to 300mm telephoto zoom (4x) ideal for shooting portraits, sports, wildlife and more.
